Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts are the author's work and have not been published anywhere; can be research results or conceptual articles in the fields of law and humanities. Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English as many as 2000 - 5000 words (5 -15 pages).
  2. The manuscript is typed on A4 paper with top and left margins of 4 cm, bottom and right margins of 3 cm, using Times New Roman font, size 12 pt, spacing 1, 1 column format with MS Word format.
  3. The title of the manuscript uses effective sentences, not exceeding 15 words.
  4. The author's name is not accompanied by a title and must include the institution/affiliation and email address of each author.
  5. The manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract written in Arial font size 10pt in one paragraph using two languages ​​(Indonesian and English) with a length of 100 - 150 words. Writing abbreviations and mathematical formulas in the abstract should be avoided. The abstract briefly describes the problem, objectives, methods, and results of the research. Writing complete sentences contains at least subject and predicate elements. In writing passive sentences, the subject and predicate elements must be clear, not confused with the elements of information (objects).  Keywords or keywords consist of 3 - 5 words.
  6. The systematics of writing a manuscript consists of:
    • Title
    • Abstract
    • Keywords
    • Introduction ( Must explicitly contain the legal issues discussed, problem formulation, and research methods (if the manuscript is the result of research).
    • Methods ( Research methods must describe the methods used to address the problem. Contains the research design/procedure, population and sample/data sources)
    • Results and Discussion ( This section contains a title according to the issue being discussed, a description of the legal issue or problem. The title of the results and discussion is listed without using numbering)
    • Conclusions and Recommendations ( The summary should describe the answers given to the hypothesis and/or research objectives or the findings obtained)
    • Acknowledgements ( Thanks are given to all parties who have supported the completion of the article, written without numbering)
    • Bibliography ( Contains a list of readings in the form of books, journals, theses, dissertations,)
  7. Writing citations uses the body note  and footnote  model,  where the author's name is not reversed and is not accompanied by an academic title.
  8. Bibliography writing (All references that are the source of quotations in the writing using Mendeley, Zotero, end notes, and so on are written using the  American Psychological Association (APA) style and arranged from A to Z. This must include references obtained from primary sources (consisting of scientific journals amounting to 80% of the entire bibliography) that have been published in the last 10 (ten) years. The remaining 20% ​​can include research articles or research reports (thesis, books, and other related publications).
  9. For repetitions, use  Ibid; Op.Cit.; Loc.Cit .; printed in italics .
  10. The literature used is the latest literature published at least in the last 10 years and is highly recommended to come from journals.
  11. The bibliography is written at the end of the manuscript, arranged alphabetically with the author's name reversed, and does not include the page number.
  12. The editors have the right to select and edit submitted manuscripts without changing the substance. Certainty or rejection of the manuscript will be notified to the author via email. Manuscripts that are not published will not be returned.
